QIAGEN Ingenuity User Group Meeting: Thursday 19th June 2014, 9 am – 5 pm

The User Group Meeting will consist of talks, customer case studies and interactive feedback sessions where new and existing users of QIAGEN’s Ingenuity products can learn about product updates, usability tips & tricks and best practices. Take advantage of this opportunity to engage with other users from the scientific community.

Cost: Free

Where: Institut Curie– Bat. Biologie du Developpement et Cancer, 26 rue d’Ulm, Paris

Ingenuity Variant Analysis Workshop: Friday 20th June 2014, 9 am – 1 pm

This workshop is aimed at clinicians, biologists, and researchers who either have, or will soon have human DNA resequencing data and wish to undertake the statistical and biological analysis to identify potential causative variants.  The half-day course will include presentations, demonstrations,  case studies exploring the use of Ingenuity Variant Analysis for the identification and interpretation of potential causal variants in complex data sets from whole genome, whole exome, and targeted panel variant call files.

Cost: Free

Where: Institut Curie– Bat. Biologie du Developpement et Cancer, 26 rue d’Ulm, Paris

IPA New User Training Workshop:  Friday 20th June 2014, 9 am – 4:30 pm

The one-day course will include presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on case studies exploring how IPA’s knowledge and discovery tools allow you to relate the most recent literature findings to your experimental data, create interactive and customized pathways and help in hypothesis generation. The course also dives deeply into data upload and analysis in IPA. You’ll learn how to rapidly understand biological processes most perturbed in your dataset, or across multiple timepoints or doses using the IPA Core Analysis. You’ll also get an introduction to functional analysis, significance calculations, and how IPA can help you understand the cause and effect of gene expression changes in your experiment. The course will use a case study of microarray gene expression data.

The workshop pass includes a 2-week training license for IPA.

Registration Cost:  €100 per person

Where: Institut Curie– Bat. Biologie du Developpement et Cancer, 26 rue d’Ulm, Paris

IPA Advanced Training Workshop:  Friday 20th June 2014, 9 am – 4:30 pm

The one-day course will include presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on case studies exploring the more advanced features of IPA, including Advanced Analytics and microRNA Target Filter. This is a course for existing users of IPA with good basic knowledge and experience of running and interpreting data through the IPA Core Analysis. The course will use several case studies of gene and protein expression profiles and microRNA analysis.

The workshop pass includes a 2-week training license for IPA + Advanced Analytics.

Registration Cost:  €100 per person

Where: Institut Curie– Bat. Biologie du Developpement et Cancer, 26 rue d’Ulm, Paris

Please Note: You can only register for either Variant Analysis , IPA New User Training or IPA Advanced Training Workshop.
