Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF)

Booth 101

Presented by Nathan Pearson & Jean Noel Billaud

Booth 101, 12:45 – 1:45 pm, Smoketree B room

Drs. Nathaniel Pearson and Jean-Noel Billaud will highlight how two new tools, Ingenuity® Variant Analysis™ and iReport™, are helping core labs meet their diverse sequence interpretation needs.  Variant Analysis is built to quickly and reliably shortlist causal variants from human whole genome, exome, and targeted sequencing data, by leveraging Ingenuity’s deep knowledge base of published phenotype associations through a simple and smart interface.  iReport leverages the same expert-curated knowledge base to glean meaningful insights from transcriptomes – down to the isoform level – through biological interpretation of RNAseq and streamlined statistics and biological interpretation of microarray and real-time PCR data.  Speakers will share new features of these user-friendly tools that help deliver faster, deeper insights to your end-users, along with examples of how your colleagues are successfully using Variant Analysis and iReport in their own labs.  Lunch will be provided.
