In June, Ingenuity hosted 2 Scientific Showcases in New Jersey and Massachusetts where scientists presented how they utilize IPA for research discovery. Scientists from Pfizer, Tufts University, Merck, Rutgers University, Unilever, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Systamedic, Ingenuity Systems and Aestus Therapeutics presented their research to other local scientists. Topics included microRNA, next generation sequencing, biomarkers, blood profiling of vaccines, pain therapies, insulin resistance, prostate cancer, and many more.
Dr. Jean-Noel Billaud presented his research entitled “Biomarkers for Prostate Cancer: How IPA Can Help Explore Potential Biomarkers for a Complex Disease.” Dr. Billaud demonstrated IPA networks, gene views and canonical pathways for the exploration of molecular signatures of cancer. Dr. Billaud utilized the IPA biomarker filter, reagent view, functions & diseases overlay, and SNP data to help him identify the clinical aspects of prostate cancer. IPA allows you to overlap results from independent studies and this provides high value for the discovery and/or validation of biomarkers.
Here is the recorded presentation of Dr. Jean-Noel Billaud from the customer case study day in Massachusetts.
Dr. Jean-Noel Billaud will also be presenting his research through LIVE scientific webinars on Wednesday, September 7 and Wednesday, September 21. You can register for these here at:
In July, September and November, Ingenuity is focusing on biomarker research and offering free live webinars from Ph.D. scientists. Visit our website, under Scientific Seminars to register for the live webinar.
