Ingenuity’s Darryl Gietzen, Ph.D., will present a scientific webinar that demonstrates how analysis of Illumina RNA-Seq data in IPA® was able to elucidate abundance-specific biological signatures in Alzheimer’s disease. IPA currently supports RNA-Seq identifiers from RefSeq, Ensembl, and UCSC. IPA also supports NGS data with integration partners CLC bio, GenomeQuest, Geospiza, Integromics, and Partek.

PCR was also performed. IPA was instrumental in elucidating differential gene expression values, and showing the visualization of both functional and molecular relationships. By using RNA-Seq technologies to provide greater sensitivity of gene expression measurements, in combination with IPA’s analysis and visualization tools, Dr. Gietzen was able to gain an in-depth understanding of the transcript change in Alzheimer’s Disease.
