INCREASING USE OF PATHWAYS ANALYSIS BY LIFE SCIENCE RESEARCHERS CREATES DEMAND FOR BEST PRACTICES TRAINING CURRICULUM
Drug Discovery Technology Conference, Boston, August 9, 2004 – Ingenuity announced today the establishment of Ingenuity University chartered to help life science researchers utilize biological pathways to better understand the underlying biology in their experiments. A new instructor led two-day class, “Best Practices Using Pathways Analysis In Drug R&D,” is offered for a registration fee of $2,000 per student.
Ingenuity also announced today a new summer ’04 release of IPA; an ROI Analysis Report from IDC Life Science Insights on large scale deployment of pathways software in pharmaceutical companies; a new Ingenuity Enterprise Collaboration application for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; a new Ingenuity Workgroup Collaboration application for government and non-profit institutions; and a new, multi-year agreement with Millennium Pharmaceuticals. For details on these other announcements, please reference the company’s other press releases dated today.
Ingenuity University is also offering two, one-hour webinars titled;
- Introduction to IPA, Summer ’04 Release
- Advanced Features of IPA, Summer ’04 Release
- Both webinars are offered free of charge to trial and paid users of Ingenuity software.
“As biopharmaceutical companies and non-profit research organizations increasingly deploy pathways software, Ingenuity University is here to help them get the most out of this exciting approach in designing and understanding biological experiments,” stated Kent Hillyer, Manager of Ingenuity University. “Ingenuity’s expertise in the development, use and scientific interpretation of biological pathways is invaluable to scientists on the cutting edge of drug discovery and development.”
The instructor-led class is offered at Ingenuity’s facilities in Mountain View, California. Alternatively, with a minimum of 6 registered students plus travel costs, this course may be delivered at an organization’s facilities.
