In early September, TOMY Digital Biology hosted our annual Ingenuity User Group Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. At this event, customers presented how they have used IPA for their scientific discoveries. Over 50 IPA customers attended, plus Ingenuity scientists, product managers, and IPA integration partners. Scientific presentations on various topics included neurodegenerative disease, biomarker identification, toxicogenomics, prostate cancer, microRNA, melanoma, and more. In addition, the IPA strategy and 2011-2012 roadmaps were presented. Customer presentations included Meiji Pharmaceutical University, Taiho Pharmaceutical and Chemicals Evaluation and Research Institute (CERI) contract services. IPA integration partners, such as Agilent, GeneSpring and CLC Bio, presented integrated workflows from statistical analysis to biological interpretation.
Customers had the opportunity to offer feedback on IPA enhancements and enroll in IPA beta programs to test new features. Customers also submitted requests for novel product ideas and ranked their requests in order of importance.
Everyone at Ingenuity Systems would like to thank our strategic partner TOMY Digital for hosting such an excellent educational event for our customers!
