Next week, we’ll be joining our colleagues at the annual Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) meeting in Phoenix to absorb more than 25 hours of presentations, nearly 400 posters, and some 150 exhibition stands.
We are particularly looking forward to the discussions about next-generation sequencing and how this technology is being adopted by molecular diagnostic laboratories to replace conventional single-gene tests with multiple gene panels for cancer and hereditary diseases.
As a sponsor of this year’s meeting, we are hosting a lunchtime workshop on Wednesday, November 13 at 12:00pm. Joining us will be Madhuri Hegde, PhD, FACMG, Professor of Human Genetics and Executive Director of the Emory Genetics Lab. Workshop attendees will learn how world-class scientists such as Dr. Hegde are using QIAGEN’s Ingenuity Knowledge Base and analytic tools to streamline variant classification of next-generation sequencing data into a scalable, reproducible, automated decision-making workflow.
We will also be present in the exhibit hall at booth #1016, where members of our team will be on hand to answer your questions and demo the latest Ingenuity solutions. We are located just across the aisle from the QIAGEN booth, where you can learn about our advances in the development of sample-to-insight workflows for next-generation sequencing. Also, keep your eyes on the newswires, as we’ll be making an exciting announcement just before the meeting starts.
We hope to see you in Phoenix!
